Plateau? or Flatline?

Well, I have been in the low 290's and upper 280's for a few weeks.  I am bored with my diet and am willing to cheat at every turn!  What to do?  What to do?  If I were on the Biggest Loser, I would have been voted off weeks ago.  I have lost 60ish pounds since April.  I should be happy and motivated, but this is a "can't see the forest for the trees" time for me.

  1. You are doing a fantastic job (as I said, Mom commented how good you looked when she saw you).

    I DEFINITELY understand that point when you just get tired and bored with dealing with it all, but remember your goals and keep pushing through. You have a large support group of people who love you and are cheering for you!!

  2. Great work, brother! It's a plateau. Take the opportunity to adjust to the new you. When I lost weight, I found it very important to have time to get used to not having protective girth--I felt overly vulnerable without it.

    Finding--or adjusting-- an exercise regimen that suits you will help move by the plateau. Walking A LOT and Pilates helped me.

  3. Hey Charles, you are doing a great job, as I said when I saw you Friday night. Change up the excersize routine and go ahead and eat something as long as it is still healthy, you know low cals and fat. You can do it!!! You have this blog post more often to get inspirational pep talks. I love you dear brother, you and I can do this!
